1. First, let me point out how impressive her organization skills are! This stood out to me the most and gave me a satisfying first impression. The way she displays her content and pictures literally screams out simple and sweet to me. The pictures she provided on her blog were clean and neatly prompted. Pictures are an automatic attention grabber so what I really liked about her pictures were the amount of pictures she used for her posts. It was not less and not too much either, so thumbs up to a simple amount! It was great that she didn't even add pictures that were obnoxious. When there's obscure or an excessive amount of pictures, I tend to get overwhelmed and it doesn't appeal in my interest to further grasp the content. Even if the content were well constructed I'll move to something more ordinary/common for that matter. Another thing that can detract my interest with certain blog sites is the background. While in Shay Town's blog, the background she choose shows me her style which I can attend to. Being a female and seeing a pink-peach colored background is a welcoming factor that I can absolutely respect. It really helps that her background adds a flare of sweetness that reminds me of a settle garden of pink roses (which any female would love!). My complete outlook on her format is purely simple tones that doesn't go unjust.
2. Second, Shay Town's blog has posts genuine details in her content that I could gravitate to right away. I found her content compelling and interesting. I felt like within every post she was giving me personal trustworthy advice. Her post number one convinced me to check out J's Everyday Fashion because I, myself love fashion. That definitely earned brownie points with me so that was very sweet of Shay to share! Besides that post, her other posts incorporated enjoyable factors in a blog content that made it compelling. There are a lot of blogs that pertain to complex and boring content which she has not include. Sometimes facts can be general but I found reading her style of posts with personality. I like that her content is concise and not overwhelming to read (as suppose to mine). Any reader can truly appreciate that, so thanks for the simple insights Shay!
Overall, I truly enjoyed Shay Town's blog because she portrays a simple and sweet criteria of work into her blog. Thank you Shay for reminding myself to K.I.S.S (keep it simple stupid) my blog. We should all give it a try! If you check out her blog, http://talkofthetowns1.blogspot.com, you'll be giving 2 thumbs up too!!
